Leadership
level dive programs are where the focus of your diving career radically
changes from self-directed to other-directed.
A
very important part of leadership training involves altering your field
of perception to include everyone around you, which can obviously increase
your "worry" quotient. But
if this sounds more like an interesting challenge than a problem to you,
you may wish to begin climbing the dive leadership ladder. Gypsy Divers
is an Instructor Training Center. DiveCon and Instructor training programs
are put together by Laura and Dave as Gypsy Diver members indicate an
interest.
The
DiveCon course is for divers interested in bringing their dive skills
and knowledge up to instructor level, whether or not they have any interest
in being a dive leader. We cover instructor-level watermanship and demonstration-quality
scuba skills, instructor-level information in all areas related to sport
diving, assistant teaching, and leading dives.
